The receptionist that answers when you can't.
BurnOn Frontdesk picks up the calls you miss, answers from facts you've checked, and books into the system you already use. If it doesn't know, it says so and takes a message.
Says it's an assistant on every call · Never takes a card number · Canadian numbersLive in an afternoon
Most of what a receptionist needs is already on your Google listing and your website. You check it. Then you forward your line.
Find your business
Type the name. We pull hours, address, phone and website from your Google listing, and read the rest from your site.
Check the facts
Every line your receptionist may say, in a list. Fix what's wrong, add what's missing, leave the rest unknown.
Forward your line
Your number stays yours. Forward it when busy or closed, add the cell to ring when someone asks for a person, and you're live.
On every call
It sounds like a person at the desk, and it says it isn't one.
Answers from your facts
Hours, prices, parking, policies. Nothing it hasn't been told.
Books, or takes a request
Into your booking system where it can; into your inbox where it can't.
Transfers, or takes a message
Asks for a person? It rings your cell. Nobody picks up? It takes the message.
Tells you after
A text within a minute, with what they wanted and what needs you.
It only says what you've checked
Most phone agents guess. BurnOn Frontdesk works from a list of facts you can read in a minute, with where each one came from. Ask it something that isn't on the list and it says “I'm not sure” and takes a message, then puts the question in front of you so the next caller gets an answer.
One plan
Per location, cancel any time. A real receptionist costs more than this a day.
- 300 minutes of calls, then $0.25 a minute
- A local number, forwarding, and transfers to your cell
- Facts from your Google listing and website, checked by you
- Booking into BurnOn, Google Calendar or Square
- A text after every call, and the inbox
Questions
What happens when it doesn't know something?
It says it isn't sure, offers a callback, and takes a message. The question lands in your inbox; answer it once and it's a fact from then on.
Does it take payments?
No. It never takes a card number. Deposits and payments stay in your booking system, the way they do today.
Can callers tell it's an assistant?
Yes, it says so in the greeting, along with the recording notice. Callers who want a person get one: it rings the number you choose.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. Your number stays on your sign and your website. You forward it to BurnOn Frontdesk when you're busy or closed, and you can turn that off any time from your phone.
