Terms of service

Last updated October 11, 2026

These terms are an agreement between BurnOn Inc. (doing business as BurnOn, “we”) and the business that signs up for BurnOn Frontdesk (“you”). By creating an account or using Frontdesk, you agree to them. If you sign up on behalf of a business, you confirm that you can agree for it.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. Questions? Email support@burnon.app.

1. The service

BurnOn Frontdesk answers the calls you forward to your receptionist's number. It answers from the facts you confirm, takes booking requests and messages, rings the number you choose when a caller asks for a person, and tells you about your calls by text and in the app.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in secure and your account details accurate. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Your line and your callers

  • You must have the right to forward the phone line you connect to Frontdesk.
  • Every call opens with a notice that the caller is speaking with a virtual assistant and that the call is recorded. It can't be removed.
  • You're responsible for your calls and for the notice your callers hear. We process your callers' information on your behalf, as our privacy policy explains.

4. What you can't use it for

  • Emergencies. Frontdesk is not an emergency service.
  • Recording people unlawfully.
  • Anything illegal.

5. AI answers and your facts

The receptionist's answers are generated by AI from the facts you confirm. You're responsible for keeping your facts accurate. The receptionist can make mistakes; when it isn't sure, it says so and takes a message.

6. Plan and billing

  • One plan per business location: CAD $99 a month with 300 minutes included, then $0.25 for each additional minute.
  • Stripe bills you monthly.
  • You can cancel any time from Settings. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period, and we don't give partial refunds.
  • If a payment fails, we may suspend your line 14 days later, until the payment goes through.

7. Your content

The facts you write and your call records belong to your business. You let us use them to run Frontdesk for you.

8. Changes

We may change Frontdesk and these terms. When we change the terms, we'll tell you by email and post the new version here with a new date. If you keep using Frontdesk after that, the new terms apply.

9. No warranty

Frontdesk is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will always be available or error-free, or that every answer will be right.

10. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about Frontdesk is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
